1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, and using ComputerDoc, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. ComputerDoc is developed and provided by Grounding LLC. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use ComputerDoc.

2. License Grant

ComputerDoc is provided as free software. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Grounding LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use ComputerDoc on computers that you own or control for personal or commercial use.

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble ComputerDoc
  • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
  • Use ComputerDoc to develop competing products or services
  • Redistribute, sublicense, or resell ComputerDoc
  • Use ComputerDoc for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

3. Software Description

ComputerDoc is a Mac health and security tool that:

  • Scans for malware and persistence threats
  • Identifies storage hogs and recommends cleanup actions
  • Diagnoses performance issues and resource bottlenecks

ComputerDoc uses OpenAI's APIs to provide intelligent analysis and recommendations about your system. System diagnostic information is transmitted to OpenAI for this purpose. We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue ComputerDoc at any time without prior notice.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Backing up your data before performing any cleanup or removal actions recommended by ComputerDoc
  • Reviewing ComputerDoc's recommendations before executing them
  • Ensuring you have appropriate permissions to scan and modify files on your computer
  • Using ComputerDoc in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Understanding that ComputerDoc provides recommendations, not guaranteed fixes

5. Privacy and Data

Your use of ComputerDoc is governed by our Privacy Policy. ComputerDoc sends system diagnostic information to OpenAI's APIs to provide intelligent analysis and recommendations. This includes information about processes, disk usage, and system performance. We do not store or retain this information—it is only transmitted to OpenAI for analysis. 6. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

COMPUTERDOC IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. Grounding LLC makes no guarantees about ComputerDoc's effectiveness in detecting all malware, identifying all storage issues, or resolving all performance problems.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GROUNDING LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES (INCLUDING DATA LOSS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR SYSTEM DAMAGE) ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF COMPUTERDOC, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

You acknowledge that ComputerDoc provides diagnostic information and recommendations, and that you are solely responsible for decisions about what actions to take based on those recommendations.

7. Updates and Modifications

ComputerDoc may automatically check for and install software updates. These updates may include new features, bug fixes, security improvements, or changes to functionality. We may also update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of ComputerDoc after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

8. Termination

You may stop using ComputerDoc at any time by uninstalling the application from your computer. We may terminate or suspend your access to ComputerDoc if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of ComputerDoc and uninstall it from your devices.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Grounding LLC operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
